On Sunday 27th June, 16 people got it right and enjoyed a game of bowls in the sunshine when they played for the Rose and Mervin Taylor Pairs Trophy.

All thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon that proved to be fun but also a keenly played competition.

The game was Australian Rules Pairs which added to the fun. The cider flowed freely, and there was plenty of food available after the game.

The results were close with Ken Ferson and Dick Washbourne (The Wasp) in third place, Sue Jones and Mike Smith were second and the overall winners were Shirley Ross and Dai Jones.

Hope to have a few more pairs next year.
